Alienware Unveils Upgraded Area-51 Desktops

Alienware has unveiled its upgraded Area-51 desktops. The unique looking desktop tower features a triad chassis design. It is targeted at gamers, developers and programmers. Alienware has packed them with the latest technology.

Alienware says the Area-51 is now equipped with the new Intel Core i7 processors for X-series platform (Broadwell-E). Intel says its Core i7 Extreme Edition delivers up to 35% faster multi-thread performance. PU options range from 6 cores to 10 cores. The graphics options include single, dual, or even triple card configurations featuring NVIDIA GeForce and AMD Radeon graphics. The desktop is powered by Windows 10.

The basic unit has 8GB Dual Channel DDR4 2133 MHz memory. Alienware says you can expand it up to 64GB of RAM. The Area-51 desktop pricing starts at $1,699.99.
