Behind the Scenes Look at the Creation of the Swarovski Tattoo Gown Worn by Berenice Marlohe in Skyfall

Bérénice Marlohe plays Sévérine in the new James Bond film Skyfall and she needed a really drop dead dress for the scene when she meets Bond. Swarovski worked with award-winning costume designer Jany Temime to create a drop dead gorgeous black gown for Marlohe to wear using Swarovski Elements. The design of the gown makes it look as if the actress has elaborate tattoos on her back, arms and legs.
Tremime says "The collaboration with Swarovski from the beginning was very successful. I saw crystal print designs in Swarovski's Atelier in Paris and I knew I wanted to create a bespoke crystal "Tattoo" design for Sévérine's dress...We applied the crystal tattoos, with over 60,000 Swarovski Elements, onto very fine tulle for the arms, neckline, back and sides of the dress accentuating Sévérine's exquisite figure. Marlohe herself was thrilled with the gown saying, "To create the character, the transformation is completed with the dress."
In this video we get a behind the scenes look at the creation of the hand made gown. Take a look:
