Chef Marcus Samuelsson Prepares African Stew and a Swediopian Cocktail

Chef Marcus Samuelsson appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show Jimmy a new cocktail recipe he created for his most recent cookbook, Yes, Chef. The cookbook was a New York Times bestseller and was nominated for a James Beard Award. The Swediopian Swizzle cocktail references Marcus' Ethiopian heritage and the fact that the was raised in Sweden. In addition to the cocktail Marcus also made Jimmy one of his favorite South African street foods, a lamb stew served in a bread bowl. The dish is called "Bunny Chow" and is made with onion, lamb, curry and potatoes. Take a look:
