Duchess of Cambridge Wears White Dress by Australian Brand Zimmermann

Posted on April 18, 2014

The Duke and Duchess continued their Australian tour today. Catherine had a very varied day in terms of activities and chose to wear a white broderie anglaise (eyelet lace) Roamer Day Dress by Australian brand Zimmermann. The dress will be available on the brand's website in May or June. It will retail for just under $500. She accessorized with Stuart Weitzman Minx Espadrille Wedges (which can be found at Zappos.com). Catherine and William visited Manly Beach see lifeguard drills and Catherine impressed everyone by running on the beach in her platform wedges. They also visited the Easter Fair and met local celebrity Fred The Ram. They also took time to visit Bear Cottage, the only children's hospice in New South Wales. The facility is a special home-like environment that provides care and support for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They are supported entirely by community donations.

Children's hospice care is a particular interest of Catherine's and she is patron of similar institutions in England. She gave a rare speech at Bear Cottage. She praised the work being done there saying, "It really is wonderful to be here today - having the chance to meet you all and to see the incredible work of Bear Cottage. First class delivery of children's palliative care is life changing. When families are confronted with the shattering news that their children have a life limiting condition, their world can fall apart. It is at those times that professional support is imperative." She also thanked everyone who has welcomed their family on their trip. Take a look:
