Ex-Wife of Chobani CEO Alleges He Stole Greek Yogurt Recipe From Fage

ABC News is reporting that Ayse Giray, the ex-wife of Chobani Yogurt CEO Hamdi Ulukaya is alleging that Ulakaya stole the company's Greek recipe from Fage. Ayse Giray alleges Ulakaya bought the recipe from a former Fage employee for over $41,000.

Fage, which helped ignite the Greek yogurt boom, makes its yogurt from a 1926 family recipe. Businessweek compares the company's Greek yogurt recipes and finds there are small differences. For example, Chobani uses less milk than Fage to make its product. The Greek yogurts from both brands use the same live, active cultures: "S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidus and L. Casei."

Chobani has denied the allegations made by Ulukaya's ex-wife. Take a look:
