General Mills Introduces Real Trix Rabbit Named Cinnabun

General Mills has introduced an honorary real Trix rabbit. The cute rabbit's name is Cinnabun. The cereal giant is using Cinnabun to highlight its move away from artificial flavors.

General Mills says the rabbit will appear on limited-edition Trix cereal boxes. Cinnabon won a contest that had 7,500 entries. The winning rabbit is owned by Natalie Tran.

General Mills says Trix no longer contains artificial flavors or colors from artificial sources. Trix will go from six colors to four after removing the artificial flavors and colors from artificial sources as you can see in the image below.

Lauren Pradhan, senior marketing manager for General Mills' cereal division, says in a statement, "We are excited for families to experience the new Trix cereal recipe and see for themselves that every spoonful will still deliver the great taste, quality and fun that General Mills cereals have always brought to their cereal bowl."
