GoldieBlox Toy Company Wins Super Bowl Ad Spot Through Intuit Contest

GoldieBlox has won a 30-second Super Bowl ad through an Intuit contest for small businesses. The company's toys are designed to encourage kids to build and develop spatial skills. The company was founded by Debbie Sterling, a female engineer from Stanford University.

Winning the contest is a very big deal because it means over 100 million viewers may see the ad and learn about the company's toys. Intuit will cover the $4 million cost to air the ad. Debbie told CNN/Money, "We still can't believe that we won. We were all crying when we found out."

In one of the teasers for the Super Bowl ad a bunch of girls can be seen running and throwing their dolls behind them. The commercial will air during the third quarter of the game. Take a look:
