Google Releases Photos and Video About Its Augmented Reality Glasses

Google shared photographs and video today of its upcoming Google glasses, called Project Glass. The Android powered glasses have been rumored for months.
A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We're sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.
The glasses are not for sale yet, but the New York Times reports that Google will be testing the wearable computers in public. Google also released a video of a man using the glass. The man starts his day by putting them on. Through the glass the man can get information, such as weather and maps. He can also communicate with friends through photographs and video. Take a look:
