Harrods Commissions Chandelier by Dale Chihuly

Harrods commissioned glass artist Dale Chihuly to create a new glass chandelier called Amber and Gold. The chandelier is the first piece of artwork commissioned by Harrods. The large chandelier can be seen on the ceiling of the London department store's Basis Street entrance. The chandelier features 1,400 hand-blown glass elements. The sculpture was built at Chihuly Studio in Seattle and then flown to Harrods where it took seven days for it to be assembled and installed. Take a look:
