HTC Announces HTC One M8 Smartphone

HTC has announced the global release of its HTC One M8 smartphone. The new phone has a 5-inch HD 1080p display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 2.3 GHz quad-core. It is powered by the Android 4.4, KitKat processor. CNET compares the M8's specs to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 5S here.
The HTC One M8 has a Duo Camera, which HTC says is the first for a smartphone. The camera features HTC UltraPixel module, dual flash and 1080p HD video recording. It also features a depth sensor. Some of the other features include the smart sensor hub, motion launch controls and HTC BoomSound. The HTC One M8 is available in three colors: Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold. Google is selling a Google Play edition of the phone for $699. Take a look:
