Husqvarna Robotic Lawn Mowers Can be Controlled with Apple Watch

Posted on April 7, 2016

Husqvarna's robotic mowers can now be controlled using the Apple Watch. The app called Automower Connect makes it possible for users to mow their lawn by pushing buttons on the Apple Watch.

Husqvarna says the app works even if you are at work or on vacation. It allows you to control the robotic mower and send start, stop and park commands. You can also configure the mower. The app also enables users to receive alarm notifications and track the position of the robotic mower in the event of theft. It works with the Husqvarna Automower 320, 330X and 450X models.

Olle Markusson, robotic category manager at Husqvarna, says in the announcement, "21 years ago Husqvarna set the first robotic mower on the market, and we have been pushing the technological frontier ever since. With Automower Connect for Apple Watch, Husqvarna takes the user experience to yet another level and strengthens its innovation lead in the growing robotic mower market."
