Jakks Pacific to Launch Nyan Cat Plush Toys

Jakks Pacific is launching a line of plush toys and other products based on the popular Nyan cat this Fall. The flying cat with the Pop-tart shaped body has become a popular Internet meme.

Nyan Cat Creator Christopher Torres said in a statement, "When I created Nyan Cat my goal was to spread love and joy throughout the world. Now, with the help of Jakks Pacific, that dream has become a reality! I couldn't be happier to be partnering alongside Jakks and I'm excited to see the response that our fans will have for the Nyan Cat merchandise we have planned."
