Kim Kardashian Robbed in Paris by Gunmen

Kim Kardashian was robbed by armed gunmen in Paris. She was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week. She attended the Balmain, Balenciaga and Givenchy shows. Kim's husband Kanye West, her sister Kourtney and her mother, Kris Jenner, were also in Paris. Kendall walked in the Givenchy runway show.

The robbery took place early this morning. BBC News reports that at least two men dressed as police offers robbed her at gunpoint at a luxury residence in Paris.

She was tied up in the bathroom. Kim was physically unharmed but is "badly shaken" by the incident.

There are reports the men were dressed as police officers. A Reuters story says there were five men wearing ski masks and "clothes with police markings." Reuters says a handgun was pressed "against her temple." Kim was staying at the Hotel de Pourtalès, a 19th century neo-Renaissance property located in the 8th arrondissement. The hotel is nicknamed the "No Address Hotel" due to its unassuming facade. Many stars stay there to avoid the press. But after this incident that may change. Apparently there was only one night guard on duty, who was threatened with a gun by the robbers. He let them in.

Kanye West was performing at the time of the robbery. He stopped the show abruptly to be by her side. Reuters says he told the crowd, "I'm sorry I have a family emergency, I have to stop the show."

The gunmen stole a box of jewelry containing as much as $6.7 million worth of jewelry as well as a ring worth over $5 million.

An E! report says Kim thought the gunman were going to kill her. The E! article cites a source saying she begged for her life and told the gunmen she was a mother of small children. She was able to break free of her bindings after the gunmen left. She reportedly then left Paris with Kendall after speaking with local police.
