Posted on December 6, 2012
KitchenAid has launched hand-painted, limited edition stand mixers for the holidays. The mixers were created, numbered and autographed by graphic artist Dean Loucks. The available styles include Leopard (pictured above), Snow Leopard and Noir Leopard; a zebra-striped Serengeti model; a floral-inspired Golden Petals design; and Shimmer (pictured below), which features Loucks' signature blue flowers. The mixers cost $1,899 each and can be found here.
Beth Robinson, senior brand experience manager for KitchenAid, said in a statement, "As a functional and enduring work of art, each of these meticulously hand-painted stand mixers is designed not only to be seen, appreciated and talked about, but used in creative ways for many years to come. As the ultimate version of what many consider the ultimate culinary essential, we expect it will be on many holiday wish lists."
