Lea Michele Partners With Burt's Bees to Save the Honeybees

Posted on March 19, 2016

Lea Michele is collaborating with Burt's Bees to help get wildflowers planted to help save the honeybees. Burt's Bees will plant wildflowers when select limited edition lip balms are purchased and when Twitter users send tweets with a #BringBackTheBees hashtag. The goal of the project is to plant 1 billion wildflowers.

Lea told People Stylewatch, "I'm really happy to be working with this amazing brand, and to be bringing awareness to an issue that a lot of people may not be educated on. I really believe that we have very similar beliefs, so this partnership feels so organic."

You can help get wildflowers planted by tweeting tweets with the letter "b" removed and using the tag #BringBackTheBees. Purchasing limited edition lip balms including Wild Cherry Cause Lip Balm and Pink Grapefruit Cause Lip Balm will also result in the planting of 1,000 wildflowers. You can find out more here. Lea also explains the Burt's Bees wildflower project in this video. Take a look:
