LEGO Launches LEGO City Volcano Explorer Sets

There's a volcano in LEGO City. This sounds extremely dangerous! Fortunately, LEGO City is equipped with men and equipment to explore the volcano. There are six sets total in the LEGO City volcano series.

Three of the sets are currently in stores. These include Volcano Crawler, Volcano Supply Helicopter and Volcano Exploration Truck. Three more sets will launch on August 1st. These include Volcano Heavy-lift Helicopter, Volcano Exploration Base and Volcano Starter Set.

The LEGO men use helicopters, jeeps and the Volcano Crawler to explore the volcano. The minifigures wear items like hard hats and heatsuit helmets. Some of the objects in the sets include items like a volcano with eruption function, mobile lab, dumper, excavator, mobile boulder cracker and boulders with crystal elements.

The Heavy-lift Helicopter set is the most expensive of the sets at $149.99. The starter set is the least expensive at $9.99. You can find the sets on lego.com.
