Nat Geo Wild Offers Fish Bowl as Super Bowl Counterprogramming

Nat Geo Wild is offering a four-hour show, called Fish Bowl, as Super Bowl counterprogramming. The show stars a goldfish named Goldie. Nat Geo says Goldie will handle food, a scuba diver, crazy red crabs, erupting volcanoes and a surprise visit from Dr. Pol and Cesar Millan. The show will air from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2.
Geoff Daniels, EVP and General Manager of Nat Geo Wild, says, "Goldie showed such promise in early casting auditions that we felt confident in the aquatic wonder's ability to entertain and captivate an audience, for four long hours, on a relatively young network, while the most-watched television event of the year just happens to be taking place."
