Grizzly bears are testing the durability of products at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, MT. The products being tested include coolers, garbage cans and other types of containers. Many of the products are destroyed by the hungry bears. Lidl Grocery Retailer Launches in the U.S., Partners With Heidi Klum

The Lidl grocery supermarket chain has arrived in the U.S. The German-based discount grocery retailer will open 20 stores in the U.S. this summer. They plan to have up to 100 stores across the East Coast by the end of summer 2018. Gymboree Expected to Close Stores as Part of Restructuring

Gymboree has announced it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The specialty children's retailer also announced it has secured $35 million in financing to support its operations during the restructuring period. Walmart to Acquires Bonobos for $310 Million

Walmart has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Bonobos for $310 million. Bonobos is a men's clothing brand. Bonobos also runs a golf apparel brand named Maide. Police Use Bait Packages in Attempt to Nab Porch Pirates

These days people get packages delivered every day of the week thanks to online retailers. The package boom has led to a new type of crime. Porch pirates are thieves that steal packages off porches in broad daylight. Police are turning to bait packages in an attempt to curb the problem and catch the criminals. Amazon to Buy Whole Foods in Deal Worth Nearly $14 Billion

A surprise mega-deal was announced today. Amazon is acquiring Whole Foods in a massive deal worth $13.7 billion. Amazon has been making major moves into bricks-and-mortar retail but the acquisition of a grocery retailer was unexpected. Graff Buys 373 Carat Rough Diamond for $17.5 Million

Graff has purchased a huge 373 carat rough diamond from the Lucara Diamond Corp. The diamond was found in the Karowe mine in Botswana in 2015. Jean-Michel Basquiat's Untitled painting from 1982 sold for $110.5 million at a Sotheby's auction. That amount is the first painting to sell for over $100 million at an auction by an American artist.
