Panda Express May Introduce New Utensil Called the Chork

Posted on August 17, 2016

Panda Express may introduce a new utensil called the chork. The chork combines a fork with chopsticks.

The source of this utensil news is a tweet by Lisa Jennings of Nation's Restaurant News and a story in Fox News. Chorks were first introduced at Panda Express with its new General Tso's Chicken meal.

The fast food chain tells First We Feast, "Chorks were introduced to the public during the launch of the dish yesterday. The tool is a perfect way to illustrate the mashup of American and Chinese cultures-just like Panda Express. Chorks are a unique utensil that elevate the way people experience their food. While Chorks are not currently available at Panda Express locations, there is a possibility that they will make their way into stores in the future."

There is a Chork website from Brown Innovation Group which says it was created in 2010 so the utensil is not a brand new invention but Panda Express could certainly make it more popular if they start offering it regularly.
