Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh Walk the Red Carpet at 2014 Oscars

Pharrell Williams made a bold fashion choice for the 2014 Oscars. Pharrell wore a Lanvin black shawl tuxedo jacket, a black bowtie a and a white shirt. So far, that's pretty traditional. But Lanvin whipped up a pair of bermuda tuxedo shorts to complete the ensemble. Pharrell wore lace up gray and black patent leather oxfords and skipped the socks, showing off his calves. He accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz gold and yellow diamond studs and Be Happy gold bracelets. His wife, Helen Lasichanh, wore a tuxeduo with a white jacket and a floppy black bow tie. She wore black platform pumps and Ofira Jewels gold ball bracelets with multi-colored diamonds.
Pharrell performed "Be Happy" during the telecast and danced with Meryl Streep, Lupita Nyong'o and Amy Adams. The song, from Despicable Me 2. was nominated for Best Original Song, but lost out to "Let It Go" from Frozen.
