Samsung Unveils Galaxy S-4 Smartphone

Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S-4 smartphone at a conference last Thursday. The phone has a larger 5-inch screen and slimmer body than its predecessor. The feature rich phone includes a Full HD Super AMOLED display made with Gorilla Glass 3. The screen resolution is 441 ppi. The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.9Ghz Snapdragon 600 processor and has 2GB of RAM. The camera features a primary 13-megapixel BSI AF camera and asecondary 2-megapixel camera.
Some software features include an optical reader, music sharing, dual video chat calling, translator and TV remote. Two color options - Black Mist and White Frost - will be available at launch time. Samsung says it will be adding new color options later this year. CNET says the phone will arrive at U.S. carries next month, but may not go on sale until May.
