Skippy is introducing a new bite-sized snack called Skippy P.B. Bites. The portable snacks feature a crunchy center with a peanut butter coating Skippy says is soft but not sticky. The snacks are sold in a portable tub.

P.B. Bites come in two varieties: pretzel and double peanut butter. The snacks have five grams of protein per serving. The interior of the pretzel variety is a pretzel while the interior of the peanut butter variety is more peanut butter. The pretzel version has 13 carbs per serving size (30 grams) while the double peanut has 14 carbs.

Michael J. Guanella, senior brand manager at Hormel Foods, says in a statement, "We recognize the growing demand for single-portion, portable snacks and the role that peanut butter plays in the snacking world. As a convenient, fun and nutritious snack option, Skippy P.B. Bites were created to meet this demand and satisfy the snacking needs of peanut butter-loving consumers, anywhere, anytime."

Hormel Foods says Skippy P.B. Bites will have a retail price of $2.89 to $3.19 per tub. They are sold in grocery stores and convenience stores.
