Staten Island Chuck Gets Away From NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio

Staten Island Chuck is a weather predicting groundhog that lives in the Staten Island Zoo. Chuck predicted six more week of winter this year. Punxsutawney Phil made the same prediction this year, so it looks like we are in for more winter.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio attempted to hold Staten Island Chuck at the official Groundhog Day ceremony today, but Chuck squirmed out of his hands. De Blasio was wearing enormous gloves which appear to have made it difficult for him to hold onto Chuck. He probably should have used his bare hands or found a smaller pair of gloves.
