Tom Ford Discusses His Cross Cultural Fall 2013 Collection

Posted on February 19, 2013

Tom Ford discusses his latest collection which he showed at a catwalk show at Lancaster House in London. Ford says the collection is inspired by a mix of cultures and how cultures are changing in the modern world. Ford showed a great deal of color and pattern in this collection which he refers to as "cross cultural multi ethnic." There were beads, giant explosions of color, embroidery and color that really popped. The fall 2013 collection was quite a departure from his more minimalist collections from the last two collections, which were full of solid colors and gorgeous tailoring. There were hints of the Tom Ford for Gucci years, no question. Ford says he loves London and considers it a second home. He says he wants his son to go to school there. Take a look:
