Tragedy in Connecticut: 20 Year Old Man Kills 28 in Elementary School Shooting Spree

This morning there was a horrific shooting in Newton Connecticut. The young man is believed to be Adam Lanza, 20, the son of a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Lanza may have killed his mother at home then took three guns with him to the school. He went into the school office, shot people there, then found another classroom where he shot the teacher and her kindergarten students then continued to shoot students and staff. Lanza is dead now, but it's unclear whether police shot him or he killed himself.

Current reports say 28 people are dead, 20 of them children. The children were told to close their eyes, hold on to one another and then were escorted out of the school, which was described as looking like a war zone.
