Vermont Country Store cookbook

The Vermont Country Store has released its very first cookbook. It features over 120 curated recipes that have been used for Orton family meals for nearly 100 years. The Vermont Country Store was founded by Vrest and Mildred Orton in 1946 and is still run by the Orton family today.

Eliot Orton, 5th generation storekeeper of The Vermont Country Store, says in a statement, "My grandfather Vrest was a bit of a perfectionist. He had an exactness about the way things should be done, insisting that doing things 'right' leads to better outcomes. There is a strong New England practicality woven throughout the book."/p>

The book has 300 full color pages. The recipes in the book use New England-sourced ingredients. The cookbook is available for purchase here from the store website for $24.95. It can also be found on Amazon.com.
