Five Millionth Butterbeer Milestone

Universal Orlando Resort has announced its Wizarding World of Harry Potter park has served its five millionth serving of Butterbeer. Butterbeer is served hot or cold and its taste is described as being reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch. The exact recipe of Butterbeer is being kept secret.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in June 2010. Universal says demand for Butterbeer has been so strong that it had to add a fourth Butterbeer serving location within the park.

Ric Florell, the executive who oversaw the development of Butterbeer, said in a statement, "We created an authentic taste experience for our guests to complement all of the other immersive experiences The Wizarding World of Harry Potter would offer them. We knew we had created something that tasted great and would be popular - but we have been surprised by just how popular."
