30-Foot Tall Lego Christmas Tree Lit at Legoland Florida

Lego Santa and Lego Soldier at Legoland Florida


A 30-foot-tall Lego Christmas tree is one of the highlights this holiday at Legoland Florida. The park's 2nd annual tree lighting ceremony featured Lego Santa, Lego Toy Soldier and singer Chris Kirkpatrick, a former member of Nsynch. The huge tree contains thousands of LED lights. It weighs over 11 tons and was made with over 270,000 forest green Lego and Duplo bricks. The tree is a key feature of Legoland Florida's Christmas Bricktacular.

Kirkpatrick is found of the Chris Kirkpatrick Foundation, which helps provide help and hope to underprivileged children. Kirkpatrick turned on the lights at Legoland Florida's special ceremony with a special Lego remote, brought in by Lego Santa. Take a look:
