Amy Adams wins Best Actress at 2014 Golden Globes


Amy Adams won a Golden Globe for Best actress in a motion picture, musical or comedy for her role as Sydney Prosser in American Hustle at the 2014 Golden Globes. The other nominated actresses were Julie Delpy, Greta Gerwig, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Meryl Streep. Amy wore a Valentino gown on the red carpet. The award was presented by Robert Downey, Jr. Amy started to tear up when she reached the stage. In her acceptance speech, Amy thanked many people. One of the people she thanked was her manger. She said this was about her fifteenth year since decided to move out to L.A. hoping to be an actress. She thanked her manager, Stacy O'Neil, for "having a feeling" she would make it in Hollywood and helping her get her first audition. The music starting playing, but Amy wouldn't let them play her off without mentioning her daughter, Aviana. Take a look:
