2015 Honda Fit Kit

Honda has announced the launch of its first DIY car. The DIY car is called the 2015 Fit Kit. It comes shipped with 200,000 mechanical parts as well as a detailed instruction manual and DVD.

Kuruma Tsukuru, global manager of the new at-home assembly project for American Honda Motor Co., Inc., said in the announcement, "Building your own Fit is not for everyone. It requires basic mechanical skills, a creative spirit and a strong desire to connect with the product you create. Our first customer testers show that we have customers who seek a deeper relationship with the goods they use, and we'll now offer that."
