to Launch Site Geared to U.S. in September

WWD reports that UK online fashion retailer,, will launch a site geared to the U.S. in September. The site will be connected to a a logistics facility in Atlanta to handle returns. Nick Robertson, founder and chief executive officer of Asos, told WWD, "The new site will have prices in dollars, different vocabulary and a locally relevant homepage." Robertson also said he expects the U.S. business to equal the size of its U.K. business within three to four years.

The website says it carries 876 brands and 35,000 lines.
