Baby Born on the Road During Atlanta Icy Traffic Nightmare

A baby was born on the road during the massive icy traffic jam that resulted from a sudden winter storm. Some commuters were stuck on the road for over eight hours during the disastrous commute. The snow came down right at the perfect time and some meteorologists had forecast very little accumulation.

Police officer Tim Sheffield delivered the baby on the side of the Interstate during the wintry ordeal. He says the 911 dispatcher was doing a great job helping the couple. Sheffield says he went and got his first aid kit and helped deliver the baby. The baby was being born about a minute after he arrived. Sheffield did a great job. Take a look:
