Backward Bowler Hopes for Spot in Guinness World Records

Illinois bowler Andrew Cowen was concerned about all the wear and tear on his knees from bowling so much. So he invented a way to bowl backwards. He has bowled a 280 using his backward technique and is hoping to hit 300 soon. He has asked that his 280 game be entered into the Guinness World Records. His technique is quite complicated and our shoulders and elbows hurt just watching him bowl. He's really good, though. We're thinking he has more visits to the orthopedic surgeon in his future.
