Balmain: RTW Spring 2011

While many other designers are catering to the rich hippy chick for spring 2011, Christophe Decarnin of Balmain is catering to the rich punk chick who also loves haute couture. His spring 2011 ready to wear collection was all day wear, all punk, all rock and roll. Instead of sequins he used safety pins, which covered jackets and held t-shirts together.
