Belkin unveils Crock-Pot WeMo Smart Slow Cooker

Belkin unveiled its Crock-Pot WeMo Smart Slow Cooker at CES 2014. Belkin says this is the first smartphone controllable slow cooker. Using an app you can adjust the cooker's settings remotely. You can also get reminders, change the cooking time and check the status of your dish. The Crock-Pot can also be operated manually.

The Verge reports that the smart Crock-Pot will be available this spring for $99. A new version of the WeMo app will launch in February for Android and iOS.
