Boost Mobile and LG Electronics have announced the launch of the LG Venice. The phone is powered by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and a 1GHz processor. It has a 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen, 5MP camera and VGA-front-facing camera. The phone weighs 4.41 ounces. Engadget says says the LG Venice is a rebadged Optimus L7.

It will be available starting Oct. 10 for $219.99 (excluding taxes) at Boost Mobile's stores, select independent wireless dealer locations nationwide and at boostmobile.com with free shipping. The LG Venice also will be available late October in select national retail locations.
