Building Brick Slippers Resemble LEGO Bricks
Updated June 30, 2016, originally posted on July 21, 2013
ThinkGeek unveiled these Building Brick Slippers which resemble oversized Lego bricks. The slippers are not licensed by LEGO. LEGO did once create some slippers with a French ad agency called Brand Station but they were not brick shaped. They were actually designed to protect parents from getting hurt when stepping on bricks. The Building Brick Slippers are available in blue and red. They cost $24.99 and can be found on ThinkGeek. A man wears the slippers while wearing a Lego minifigure helmet in the promotional video, which has since been deleted.
Update 6-30-16: ThinkGeek no longer carries the slippers. We did find two very similar slippers on Amazon.com. They are called Augenblick Building Brick Slippers and they use the same product images that were used on ThinkGeek. They are available in red and blue. The slippers are "one-size-fits-most" and they are made from polyester.
