California Couple Finds Rare Coins Worth $10 Million

A California couple discovered a collection of buried rare coins that could be worth as much as $10 million. The gold coins were found in rusty old cans on their property when they were out walking their dog. The collection of 1,427 coins date from 1847 to 1894 and are reportedly nearly all in mint condition. Coin expert Dr. Don Kagan from Kagin's Inc. says the couple found one can of Lady Liberty gold coins first and then went back with a metal detector and found seven more cans. It is an amazing find for the lucky couple. Forbes reports that the couple plans to sell 90% of the coins through Amazon.com's Collectibles section. Take a look:
