Carl's Jr. Launches Thickburger El Diablo Campaign With Sara Sampaio

Carl's Jr. and Hardee's have launched the new Thickburger El Diablo in a campaign starring model Sara Sampaio. Sara will eat the spicy burger in the campaign.

The Thickburger El Diablo has several spicy ingredients include sliced jalapenos, crunch Jalapeno Poppers, spicy habanero bacon sauce and pepper-Jack cheese. These ingredients are served over a Black Angus beef Thickburger along with crispy bacon. Pricing for the burger starts at $5.49.

Brad Haley, chief marketing office of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, says in a statement, "Since spice levels build the more you eat, every bite of a Thickburger El Diablo is hotter than the last. In fact, we’ve even added a warning label on our large drink cups, and we advise that you get one with any Thickburger El Diablo because you’ll need it to help extinguish the burn."
