Carolyn Murphy is the face of the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2016 advertising campaign. The campaign was photographed in New York City with the Hispanic Society of America sites as a backdrop. The campaign was photographed by David Sims.

The Hispanic Society of America site includes a museum and library. It features an equestrian statue of El Cid. Creative Director Peter Copping selected the site as a backdrop to highlight the Spanish-influenced Spring 2016 collection. He says the colors and floral patterns "referenced many of the late Oscar de la Renta's inspirations and his early career in the ateliers of Madrid."

Copping was appointed Creative Director for the brand in 2014. His first collection was the Fall 2015 collection. Copping worked at Nina Ricci before moving to Oscar de la Renta. You can find more photos from the campaign here on Oscar de la Renta's Facebook page.
