Singer Chaka Khan covers the latest issue of Billboard magazine. The cover, which is the first augmented reality cover for Billboard, celebrates the 40th anniversary of Chaka's career in music and entertainment. Chaka's career began with the launch of Rufus on July 1, 1973. She will release The iKhan Project: Alive! The Commemorative Edition on July 2, 2013. The first installment of the album will be recorded live at the Henson Studios in Los Angeles.

Chaka said in a statement, "I want to experience the magic I felt 40 years ago when I recorded my first record. The thrill of recording with all the musicians in one room, the interaction with the producer and the spontaneous moments of the experience."
