Chinese Company Builds Homes With a Giant 3D Printer

A Chinese company, named the WinSun New Materials Company, is building homes with a giant 3D printer. The walls, structure and base of the homes are made with the 3D printer. Some parts, such as windows, are not printed. The homes are made with cement and construction waste. They cost about $5,000 each.

ITN says the company claims it can print up to ten homes per day. The printed homes look more like large sheds. The Wall Street Journal has a slideshow here that shows the homes being put together. Take a look:
