Conan O'Brien: Rebecca Black Ripped Off My Song

Posted on March 21, 2011

Rebecca Black's single "Friday" has been a huge hit and took over the Internet for a while. A lot of people poked fun at the video and its silly lyrics. Conan O'Brien is angry at all the attention Black's "Friday" hit is getting. This is because he claims the popular "Friday" song is a ripoff of his song called "Thursday."

The songs do sound kind of similar and they both have a rapper. In this clip from the "Thursday" music video, Conan explains Thursday and how it comes before Friday and after Wednesday. He has a calendar to help explain when Thursday falls in the week. He also likes saying the word "partying." Conan says the rapper makes "Thursday" a real song. We expect the "Friday" parodies are just beginning. Take a look:
