Dr. Andrew Weil Launches Footwear Line
Posted on October 1, 2010
Dr. Andrew Weil has launched a foot wear line called Dr. Andrew Weil Integrative Footwear. The footwear line was launched in collaboration with Phillip J. Vasyli, founder of the Orthaheel technology. The line's fall 2010 collection features five styles, including sandals for both men and women and walking shoes for women. The footwear uses the Aided Motion System, which the company says helps restore natural foot alignment, function and improve overall energy and efficiency.
"Walking is what your body is designed to do," says Dr. Weil. "There's no special skill, training or equipment needed, just the right footwear. Without proper footwear, walking can be painful, making it difficult to maintain an active lifestyle."
Retailers carrying the shoes include Dillard's, Nordstrom, Footsmart.com, SoleProvisions.com and better comfort shoe stores. Retail prices range from $89.95 to $119.95.
