Duchess of Cambridge Wears Roksanda Ilincic Dress for Sydney, Australia Appearance

Posted on April 16, 2014

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George landed in Sydney, Australia for the last half of their official tour. Catherine looked gorgeous in a bright yellow and white dress by Roksanda Ilincic. Catherine confided to a woman she met that William thought it made her look like a banana, which is pretty funny. But William clearly had no say in the wardrobe for the trip. The Queen always wears very bright colors so people can see her in a crowd and clearly she wants Catherine to do the same. The dress is a custom version of the Ryedale dress from the spring/summer 2014 collection. The dress is made form wool crepe and is lined in a silk and cotton blend. Catherine accessorized with pearl drop earrings by Annoushka and her favorite nude L.K. Bennett pumps. Prince George looked perfectly happy as his mother and father greeted local dignitaries, smoothly handing him off to the other parent, as needed. Sky News has footage of the arrival which had crowds of locals who had lined up for hours for a chance to meet William, Catherine and little George. Take a look:
