Elizabeth Banks Kicks Off National Wear Red Day Event at Macy's

Actress Elizabeth Banks helped kick off The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women event at Macy's Herald Square on National Wear Red Day, Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. The goal of the even is to spread awareness about heart disease, which is the number one killer of women. Star Jones and stylist Nick Verreos also helped launch the event.
Elizabeth says, "There are all these images of men having heart attacks. I personally feel like anyone on Mad Men could have a heart attack at any moment. We rarely see a depiction of a woman having a heart attack and the symptoms are very different for men and for women."
She says basic awareness is really important. She also says you have to know if you have risk factors. Take a look:
