Eva Longoria's Swag Bags Thrill Guests
Posted on July 13, 2007Eva Longoria's wedding went off without a hitch. Reportedly, the food was great and the members of the wedding party especially loved their fabulous swag bags. The female guests at the wedding all received Van Cleef & Arpels' Sweet Alhambra bracelets, which are 18K yellow gold chains on which hangs a mother-of-pearl clover charm. The bracelets are supposed to bring good luck.
Page Six reports that smart Eva got everything in the swag bag donated by various companies.
Those invited to the insanely over-covered nuptials got $700 bracelets from French jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels, along with Bebe bags filled Vitamin Water, L'Oreal products for women and a Cole Haan kit for men. At least the lovebirds paid for their wedding rings and luxurious gifts for each other, but, "They didn't purchase anything for their guests," said our insider. The couple spent a fortune with Van Cleef & Arpels for their wedding rings and Tony's blinged out watch (a present from Eva), so no doubt the famous jeweler sweetened the deal by offering the bracelets. Why shouldn't she get things donated? It's not like she pulled a Star Jones and shouted it to the world, or anything.
Eva also wore a "Mrs. Parker" tracksuit before heading off on her honeymoon. We will admit that we hated the "Mrs. Parker" tracksuit. Still, it was better than the Britney Spears wedding track suits which said "Pimp." Or was it Ho? We can't recall.
