Eva Shockey covers Field & Stream

Eva Shockey covers the May 2014 issue of Field & Stream magazine. Eva is holding her bow on the cover. The Outdoor Channel says Eva is only the second woman to cover the publication in its 119-year history. The only other woman to cover the magazine was Queen Elizabeth, who covered the magazine in 1976 with her hunting dogs.

Eva stars on the show, Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures, which airs on the Outdoor Channel. The long-running show is now in its 12th season.

Eva says she flew 35 hours from Russia to New York and back for the shoot. She says of the experience, "It was all actually a pretty big deal. I got there at a Chelsea studio, obviously jetlagged. They had 10, 15 people -- hair stylists, nails, makeup, lighting, a big-name professional photographer. It kind of felt like what you'd see in the movies."
