Registered dietician Kerry Glassman tells Harry Smith from CBS HealthWatch about some foods that help you get whiter and healthier teeth. One thing Glassman advocates is to drink your coffee with a straw. You can also add milk to your coffee which will help reduce the staining. She also says that cheese helps fight cavaties. Glassman also says foods high in Vitamin-C are good because they help prevent gum disease. Beans are also good because the magnesium and phosphorus helps build strong teeth and bones. Water is a plus because it washes away the bacteria that might cause cavaties. Glassman is also a fan of green tea.
