French President Sarkozy Hospitalized After Collapsing

French President Nicolas Sarkozy's collapsed suddenly while jogging Sunday at his weekend retreat outside of Paris. His wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, rushed to his side and the President was taken away in a white helicopter. He was rushed by helicopter to a military hospital, where he will remain overnight under medical observation. Sarkozy is reportedly suffering from a problem with his vagus nerve, which helps the body regulate its heart rate. Vasovagal syncope can cause a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure, especially if the patient is overheated and dehydrated. Take a look:
